With a plan in action, Foreman Sheldon Lennon and his team transformed the area. EverLast wall panels were installed to waterproof and insulated the walls. ThermalDry Elite Plank is a superior flooring option as it prevents water seepage from entering the basement and keeps the floors up to 10 degrees warmer compared to concrete flooring. Plus, the walnut color looks great in any basement! To add some finishing touches, post wrap was installed over the supporting beam to get that completed, elegant look. Before, this Beacon Falls basement had a water problem that would cause the walls of the basement to be susceptible to mold and moisture damage. This was a great concern for the homeowner. She did her research and decided to call Connecticut Basement Systems to help find her a solution.
The solution for this Beacon Falls basement was to install a WaterGuard System which will ensure the basement stays dry all year long. Instead of water entering the basement, the water is collected in this system and channeled to a sump pump where the water exits through a discharge line. To address the water damage that has already set in the walls, EverLast Wall Restoration was installed on the half wall. The materials in the restored half wall are immune to mold and moisture damage which requires no maintenance and never needs painting. The wood-framed upper wall can’t absorb floor moisture, so it is protected from future damage.
The homeowner was impressed with her transformed basement and now enjoys a dry and pleasant basement!

Before, this West Haven basement would get unwanted water seeping through the area. This homeowner was greatly frustrated because he used his basement as a place to relax and enjoy. He wanted to waterproof the area so this would not become a problem anymore. After doing much research, he decided to trust the experts at Connecticut Basement Systems.
To ensure that water would not enter the basement anymore, a WaterGuard system was installed paired with a TripleSafe sump pump system. A SaniDry Sedona was also installed to keep humidity low which will increase the quality of air. There was water damage on the walls that was attracting mold and was not appealing. To solve this problem, we installed a half wall restoration system to the walls, essentially removing the bottom water damaged wall and replacing with our EverLast paneling which will prevent mold.
