Photo Album: Basement Transformation in Monroe, CT
Within this Monroe, CT basement was originally space just used for storage and that was it. The homeowners eventually figured it was time to finish their basement and turn it into something they could utilize for more than storage and use to greatly improve the overall look of their house. They then contacted Total Basement Finishing in which our sales representative, Matt Kraus, was able to offer a free inspection and estimate of the cost of finishing their basement. After coming to an agreement on what the basement should look like post-production, a TBF crew was assembled and was ready to finish the basement and grant the homeowner's wishes.
With a new project ahead of our crew, they had to figure out what was going to be needed in finishing this basement and carrying out the homeowner's vision. What was used in this project includes Everlast wall panels, ThermalDry flooring tiles, a baseboard heating system, an electrical system, ceiling linen, and a new door with a frame. From the photos, it is an extremely noticeable transformation which left the homeowners more than grateful for the great work our TBF team was able to do for them.
Basement Storage Pre-Production
Here you can see what the basement was being used before any finishing was done. It is clearly just a storage space but could be so much more with proper finishing and utilization.
Staircase and Storage Pre-Production
This is another view of the amount of storage this basement is being used for with a better look and the wooden staircase that leads upstairs. This basement and the stairs will end up looking much different after our TBF crew finishes this project.
