EverLast Windows and Walls in Newtown, CT

Challenge

This Newtown basement had insufficient windows and the garage was not finished. The windows leaked air and moisture which caused for an uncomfortable and uninviting basement. The homeowner wanted their garage and basement to be nice and inviting as well as energy efficient. After doing much research, she decided to set an appointment with Connecticut Basement Systems to help them find a solution.

Solution

On the day of the appointment, Sales Representative Ferdinand Gojani arrived at the home to give a free home evaluation. He first inspected the basement and concluded that in order to brighten up and create an energy efficient area, EverLast windows would need to be installed. The next area he inspected was the unfinished garage, which could be resolved with our EverLast walls. Ferdinand went over all the products and installation process with the homeowner. She decided that this would be the best solution for her home and wanted to move forward with the project.

On the day of installation, Co-Foremen Chavon Bowman and Kevon Barnett arrived at the home, ready to install the products. Everything was installed proficiently and efficiently. The EverLast windows were installed and it immediately brightened up the area. Not only was the basement inviting, but the area was now energy efficient. The windows have double-pane glass that will prevent heat loss. Our Sunhouse window well was also installed outside the window to allow the maximum amount of light into the home.

Next area was the garage. Chavon and Kevon were able to install EverLast wall panels to garage walls. The EverLast walls are superior to drywall because they cannot be damaged and will not support mold growth. They are much stronger than drywall, a single panel can support up to 300lbs! This makes for a great product in the garage.

Once the project was completed, the basement and garage were completely transformed. The basement was brighter and more inviting. The garage looked incredible and the homeowner was happy to know that the walls not only looked nice but were practical. This homeowner was one happy customer!
